Friends.

Belle has a little friend down the street. She comes over once or twice a week and sometimes with her 10 year old aunt. Belle absolutely loves it when they come and play.

Outside.

Above: Not wanting to go inside.
Below: Finally inside.

Belle loves it outside. Now that she can walk I try to get her to walk to the house when it's time to go inside... It usually doesn't work!

Just relaxing and playing!

Belle was... well just relaxing!

Standing up.

Belle has this down. I need to get some more pictures of it!

Don't ask....

...because I don't know.

She just loves to sit in/on things.
She's trying to sit on it:

Playing in the snow....Kind of!

I took Belle out a few weeks ago when we had a bunch of snow.... She really didn't care too much for the snow. But she was thrilled to be outside and able to touch the cars in the parking lot. Last summer when she was walking with help (yes the painful back bent over help) all she wanted to do was touch the dang on cars! Of course I could easily re-direct her. Well, those days are over; she's walking on her own now and was very excited that she could go about on her own!

The car....

The snow...

Back to the car...

Peek-A-Boo!

Belle has been a peek a boo'n fool lately!

She's played peek-a-boo with herself in the mirror, her books, her Valentine's day cards, and anything else that disappears and reappears!!

Shoes.

Along with the belly button Belle has also been obsessed with shoes lately. She has tried to put on her own shoes, my shoes, Earl's shoes, a neighbor's shoes...

Playing with her mittens.

Belle loves the sound of her mittens when she claps her hands together. One night she brought her mittens over to me so I put them on. She wore them for quite a while. She kept walking around while clapping her hands and saying yaaa.

Teeth!

Belle now has six teeth. Four of which you can see really well; the other two have just broken through. And of course she is working on two more on the bottom...

Pointing.

Belle loves to point. As she walks it isn't uncommon for her to point at what she wants or where she is going. When we read her books she will point at what ever she wants to know about! She can point to the nose, eyes, and mouth on cue. Also, she has a lot of toys that she can identify with a quick point. The best is her obsession with the belly button... If you want to see her get really excited just flash your belly button and she'll come running over to push it!

My baby sweater.

Belle has been able to wear one of my old sweaters... I'm not positive who made it but it's adorable!

Shopping with Mommy!

I don't have any pictures of this, but a couple of weeks ago when Belle was first walking really well we decided to go grocery shopping. The aisle was empty so I thought I would let her stretch her legs (she doesn't usually whine at the store just sits in the cart contently and patiently waits). You would have thought she was on top of the world; she was sooo happy to be walking in the store! I can't even explain the look on her face; I just know that she loved it. She kept walking from one side to the other touching the doors (we were in the frozen food section) on both sides.

Hmmm...

Belle always puts her finger by her mouth as if she's thinking really hard.

Blowing Kisses.

Awwww, this is soooo sweet!

Little Miss Independent.

We always read in the morning and the evening. Belle loves her books so throughout the day it's not uncommon to find us reading some more... Some days she refuses to allow me to pick out the books. She's even started to attempt to re-shelve the books!

Belle's expressions!

Belle is full of expressions... Here are just a couple of the goofy ones (they're really hard to capture on camera).
