From laying to sitting!

So last night was an exciting night as I was cooking dinner late in the evening as usual (beef stew and it turned out wonderfully) I heard Belle grunting and groaning. (Belle is always more active in the evening so I try to let her be.) Looking in on her she was just trying to pull herself up, or at least that's what I thought. Moments later she let out a huge squeal, again I looked in on her and she was sitting up. Not sure whether she was laying down previously or not I just shook it off but kept an eye on her. She went from sitting to all fours to laying down and playing on her belly. Of course I noted that she was now on her belly; moments later she was squealing and clapping as she was now sitting. So, now I knew that she had completed the task of laying on her belly to sitting on her bottom. If only I could catch her in the act. Well, I did eventually see her do it and it is super cute how they just push themselves back. I don't have any pictures of it yet but as soon as I get one I'm going to post it. Belle was in a great mood all evening I could tell that she was super proud of herself. She was so excited and just clapped after she got herself into the sitting position.

Books

She loves her books! Baby faces is a favorite, she compares the faces and almost always laughs at any book that she's looking at.

Already the remote queen!

Check out how fast she moves for the remote! Sorry I don't know how to flip it...

My sleeping angel.

Actually sleeping in her carseat. I'm very surprised, seriously this child will not sleep in the car!

Our first picnic, My first Mother's Day.

Here our some pixs from our first picnic. We went to Pendleton's Historic Park, ugh, I can't remember the name of it. But we had a blast, Belle really enjoys the outdoors. She was wiped afterwards. Oh, and also in May was my first Mother's Day. We went out for breakfast and I got a carnation; it was a wonderful day!

My first birthday as a mommy!

It was a wonderful day, turning 26 as a mommy! I received a card with Belle's hand traced inside of it, a cake, and flowers. Earl had to work but we celebrated before he left. Being a mom is just a great thing to be!!!!:)

Creeping

At 5 1/2 months Belle decided to move around on me, well she began to creep or scoot on her belly. 3 1/2 months later the technique's still the same, (hands together, kick feet) just a lot faster. Yesterday she went from laying on her belly to all fours for the first time. Finally she's actually showing some interest in crawling. She now sits on all fours for a few seconds before sprawling out and creeping on her belly. Although we can just tell she wants to stand up and go, go, go! She wants to stand up so badly. One day she's just going to shock me and stand up and go!

Belle's first tooth.

Belle's first tooth broke through yesterday! It's her bottom right tooth, you can barely see it but give it a week and I'll probably have a picture of it. The tooth must be in a comfortable spot...since I finally got a somewhat good night sleep! She hasn't been too fussy but I can definitely tell that she's teething. No more gummy smiles:(

Updating everyone!

Since I'm just now figuring this out; I'm going to post randomly from the previous months so that everyone can share in some of our joys..... So, the post won't be in chronological order until I'm finished updating. I think I will only go back to August unless there was something big that happened before then! pic taken 10/15-Belle helping mommy with the laundry...she really has fun in the hamper!

Belle and Daddy

Belle loves her Daddy and the fun she has with him. She now knows the sound of the television turning on...that's because she always watches t.v. with her daddy in the evening. Pratically the only t.v. time that she gets! But they do have fun. pixs taken 10/23

Belle's World

Dedicated to Belle Addison Carroll and all family members who would like to know what my little sweetie is up to on a regular basis. Hopefully, I'll catch on to this "blog thing" fairly quickly and easily.
