Too Funny!

So Belle has developed the habit of not taking her usual naps when Earl is around. Sounds like fun, huh? And when she's not hungry there's no trying to feed her as she already shakes her head no. If she's really not hungry she'll throw a fit the entire time I'm trying to put her in the highchair. That being said, the other day I put her in her chair without a fight. She ate two bites and this was the result....

I knew she was tired but she wouldn't sleep! Earl had just left for work so I tried to feed her then thought I would lay her down. Well, she surprised me!!! Oh and she didn't budge the entire time up the stairs and into her bed.

More Christmas!!!

We woke up Thursday morning after a bear of a night with Belle. She was sick all evening....So, the pictures didn't turn out as good as I would have liked but here are some of them anyway.

Earl and I were trying to have our Christmas breakfast, cinnamon rolls (ha), Belle had other plans....Of course she opened the present that I wanted to be last first! Check it out:
She just kind of cruised over to the presents and wasn't told to stop, then she accidentally tore part of the package and that was the beginning!

Christmas!

We had a great Christmas in Kentucky! Unfortunately Belle was sick for our Christmas in Indiana but it was still a great first!! Here are just a few pictures, I'll post more later. I've got to get some sleep while Miss Belle is napping...finally!

9 month check up

Belle had her 9 month check up today. The doctor said she looks great. She's in the 75-90 percentile for her height at 29 1/2" and in the 25-50 percentile for her weight at 18.1 lbs. The doctor said she'll probably be walking soon. Belle's right on schedule with her social development and ahead with her gross and fine motor skills. So, Belle's doing great!!!

You can see Belle's two teeth in most of these pictures. They're the first pictures we have that show off her teeth this well!

Yesterday Belle had a very talkative day. It started while I was changing her diaper and she was keeping herself busy with a toy in hand and all of a sudden she began saying lalala. It was even in a sort of sing songy voice! Then much to my enjoyment she began saying mamama. This is the first time she's repeated ma, I've heard her say it a few times before by not as much as yesterday. Then I heard her saying gagaga, I'm not sure what she was trying to say but it was cute. And finally in the late evening she was saying dadada. It was a very busy day for her, I've never heard her so talkative and I definitely wasn't expecting so many new sounds all at once.

Oh and she loves our fish tank, she is now beginning to point to objects that she wants. And at least twice in a day she decides that she wants to look at the fish and points right to them.

Frog Outfit

Belle received this outfit as a gift from one of our neighbors. I thought it was adorable. And the giver didn't even know that I like frogs! The pants even have webbed feet!
